Add minor ingredients and agar to ca. 800 ml distilled water. Steam to dissolve
agar, then make to one litre with distilled water. Add 220 g glycerol and sterilize
by auto-claving at 121°C for 15 min. The final aw is 0.955: final pH 5.6
± 0.2. Commercially available (Oxoid).
